As I sat my horse riding to the sunset I hear the signs of spring of the creek running like a river the Canadian geese on the ponds, elk run across the horizon. Life is so precious some Times we just need to stop and enjoy the things around us and drown out the craziness of life it’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle of life. At the very moment of seeing this sunset and feeling every breath of my horse beneath me i wondered if this is the same peaceful feeling that my Father, Grandfather, and many before felt as they crossed through the mountains and desert following cattle or looking for water and checking pastures, it’s so easy to have them with me in these moments i hear the voices of them talking me through my riding and problems doubting and I remember why I started this journey with horses and the love of this area I am truly one lucky girl.
